French work wear artisan apron customised with patchwork. The patchwork is made up of a series of squares of three different fabrics. Vintage indigo and a lighter blue ‘bleu de travail’ fabric. Antique kimono and a vintage French Provençal fabric.
The Kimono fabric has original sashiko stitches which has been incorporated beautifully into the piece. Pieces of the ‘bleu de travail’ garment has been used for added texture.
